About Me
My name is Hailey Dick! I am from Rossville, KS and attended Rossville High School. I am currently a senior at Kansas State University, majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math. I am currently Student Teaching at St. George Elementary in St. George, KS. I am apart of Alpha Xi Delta, the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and Educators Rising. I was on the committee for Education Symposium as well as working with Grandparents University over the summer. I am very close with my family and have 3 siblings and 8 nieces and nephews. I have had volunteer experience at the Wonder Workshop and Douglass Center in Manhattan as well as Horizon's Edge after school program at St. George Elementary and have done my past field experience at Wamego West Elementary in Wamego, KS. I participated in my Block B practicum at Bergman Elementary in Manhattan with some awesome first graders! I also volunteered at Junction City Middle School helping with a tutoring program. I am currently a substitute for USD 321 (my first experience is the picture to the left). My second grade teacher was my inspiration for wanting to become a teacher and I cannot wait to be able to make an impact on children's lives the way she has impacted mine. I hope to read lots of stories and have overflowing enthusiasm in my future classroom. I love to spend time with my family, read, listen to music, and add to my Pinterest boards.
